A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in South River Technologies Titan FTP Server up to 10.0.1732 (File Transfer Software). Affected by this issue is an unknown functionality. The manipulation of the argument src with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Directory traversal vulnerability in the web interface in Titan FTP Server before 10.40 build 1829 allows remote attackers to obtain the property information of an arbitrary home folder via a Properties action with a .. (dot dot) in the src parameter.
The weakness was presented 04/29/2014 (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-1843 since 02/02/2014.
