A vulnerability was found in Dotonpaper Booking System up to 1.1 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file dopbs-backend-forms.php of the component Backend. The manipulation of the argument booking_form_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in dopbs-backend-forms.php in the Booking System (Booking Calendar) plugin before 1.3 for WordPress allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the booking_form_id parameter to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.
The weakness was shared 05/22/2014 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-3210 since 05/03/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:dopbs-backend-forms.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 12965 (WordPress Booking System Plugin 'booking_form_id' SQL Injection Vulnerability).
Upgrading to version 1.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
