A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Moodle up to 2.4.6 (Learning Management Software). Affected by this issue is some unknown processing in the library repository/url/lib.php of the component Downloader. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the URL downloader repository in repository/url/lib.php in Moodle through 2.3.11, 2.4.x before 2.4.10, 2.5.x before 2.5.6, and 2.6.x before 2.6.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was shared 05/26/2014 by arma (Website). The advisory is shared for download at moodle.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-0218 since 12/03/2013. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
