A vulnerability has been found in Dleviet DataLife Engine 9.7 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function preg_replace. The manipulation of the argument catlist[] with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-94. DataLife Engine (DLE) 9.7 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via the catlist[] parameter to engine/preview.php, which is used in a preg_replace function call with an e modifier.
The weakness was shared 06/02/2014 by Egidio Romano (Website). The advisory is shared at dleviet.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-1412 since 01/21/2013.
