Directory traversal vulnerability in LayerLoader.jsp in the theme component in IBM WebSphere Portal 7.0.0.1 and 7.0.0.2 before CF19 and 8.0 before CF03 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a crafted URI.
The weakness was shared 11/16/2012 as 21617713 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at www-01.ibm.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-4834 since 09/06/2012. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely.
