A vulnerability was found in WP Social Invitations up to 1.4.4.1 (WordPress Plugin). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file test.php. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in test.php in the WP Social Invitations plugin before 1.4.4.3 for WordPress allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the xhrurl parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 07/02/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at plugins.trac.wordpress.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-4597 since 06/23/2014. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Upgrading to version 1.4.4.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
