Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the advanced-grading implementation in Moodle through 2.3.11, 2.4.x before 2.4.11, 2.5.x before 2.5.7, 2.6.x before 2.6.4, and 2.7.x before 2.7.1 allow remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted (1) qualification or (2) rating field in a rubric.
The weakness was presented 07/29/2014 as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is shared at git.moodle.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-3551. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
