A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Yealink SIP-T38G (IP Phone Software) (affected version not known). This vulnerability affects the function dumpConfigFile. The manipulation of the argument command with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Absolute path traversal vulnerability in Yealink VoIP Phone SIP-T38G allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files via a full pathname in the dumpConfigFile function in the command parameter to cgi-bin/cgiServer.exx.
