IBM InfoSphere BigInsights 2.0 through 2.1.2 does not set the secure flag for the LTPA cookie in an https session, which makes it easier for remote attackers to capture this cookie by intercepting its transmission within an http session.

The weakness was presented 08/17/2014 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-0905 since 01/06/2014. Access to the local network is required for this attack to succeed. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
