A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Panda Internet Security 2012/2013. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the component DLL Linker. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, and integrity.
The bug was discovered 09/09/2012. The weakness was released 12/04/2012 by Qsecure and Demetris Papapetrou with Qsecure as not defined mailinglist post (Bugtraq).
