Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in the N-Media file uploader plugin before 3.4 for WordPress allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code by leveraging Author privileges to store a file.
The weakness was disclosed 09/26/2014 by Yuji Tounai (Website). The advisory is shared for download at jvndb.jvn.jp. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-5324 since 08/18/2014. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. Required for exploitation is a authentication.
