A vulnerability was found in Photo Gallery plugin up to 1.1.30 (Photo Gallery Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the Web-Dorado Photo Gallery plugin 1.1.30 and earlier for WordPress allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) callback, (2) dir, or (3) extensions parameter in an addImages action to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php.

The weakness was shared 10/10/2014 by High-Tech Bridge SA with High-Tech Bridge SA (Website). The advisory is shared for download at htbridge.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-6315 since 09/11/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.

The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 13047 (WordPress Photo Gallery Plugin "admin-ajax.php" Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities).
