Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in OpenMRS 2.1 Standalone Edition allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that add a new user via a Save User action to admin/users/user.form.

The weakness was disclosed 10/23/2014 by Mahendra (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-8073 since 10/09/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
