Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in mod/feedback/mapcourse.php in the Feedback module in Moodle through 2.4.11, 2.5.x before 2.5.9, 2.6.x before 2.6.6, and 2.7.x before 2.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML by leveraging the mod/feedback:mapcourse capability to provide a searchcourse parameter.
The weakness was presented 11/24/2014 by SkOd (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at moodle.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2014-7830 since 10/03/2014. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. A authentication is required for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059.007 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
