A vulnerability was found in PBBoard up to 3.0.0 (Forum Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects the function CheckEmail. The manipulation of the argument email with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in the CheckEmail function in includes/functions.class.php in PBBoard 3.0.1 before 20141128 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the email parameter in the register page to index.php. NOTE: the email parameter in the forget page vector is already covered by CVE-2012-4034.2.
