A vulnerability was found in Codiad 2.4.3 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown function. The manipulation of the argument path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in components/filemanager/download.php in Codiad 2.4.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the path parameter. NOTE: this issue was originally incorrectly mapped to CVE-2014-1137; see CVE-2014-1137 for more information.
