A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in ownCloud up to 5.0.5 (Cloud Software). Affected is the function OC_Util::getUrlContent. The OC_Util::getUrlContent function in ownCloud Server before 5.0.18, 6.x before 6.0.6, and 7.x before 7.0.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a file:// protocol.
The weakness was shared 02/04/2015 by Lukas Reschke (Website). The advisory is shared for download at owncloud.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-9046 since 11/21/2014.
