A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Juniper NetScreen 5GT Firewall up to 5.0.0r8 (Firewall Software). Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the component Antivirus. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
