The issue has been introduced in 07/05/2005. The weakness was released 03/19/2015 by Stephen Henson as secadv_20150319.txt as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at openssl.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-0286 since 11/18/2014. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
