A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Movable Type up to 5.2.5. Affected is the function Storable::thaw. The manipulation of the argument comment_state with an unknown input leads to a code vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-17. Movable Type before 5.2.6 does not properly use the Storable::thaw function, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the comment_state parameter.
