The __socket_proto_state_machine function in GlusterFS 3.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a "00000000" fragment header.
The weakness was shared 03/27/2015 as Bug 1138145 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). It is possible to read the advisory at bugzilla.redhat.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-3619 since 05/14/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
