Apple Safari before 6.2.5, 7.x before 7.1.5, and 8.x before 8.0.5 does not properly select X.509 client certificates, which makes it easier for remote attackers to track users via a crafted web site.
The weakness was shared 04/08/2015 with Opera as HT204658 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2015-1129 since 01/16/2015. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
