The Sandbox Profiles component in Apple iOS before 8.3 allows attackers to read the (1) telephone number or (2) e-mail address of a recent contact via a crafted app.
The weakness was disclosed 04/10/2015 by Stuart Ryan (Rick) with TaiG Jailbreak Team (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-1113 since 01/16/2015. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1592.
Upgrading to version 8.3 eliminates this vulnerability.
