A vulnerability, which was classified as very critical, has been found in Cisco MDS Fiber Channel Switch 5.2/6.2. Affected by this issue is the function gethostbyname2 of the component NX-OS. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119.
