The weakness was presented 04/29/2015 by Sebastian Andrzej Siewior as ClamAV 0.98.7 has been released! as confirmed release notes (Blog). It is possible to read the advisory at blog.clamav.net. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with Clam. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-2170 since 03/01/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
