A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Oracle JavaFX up to 2.2.4 (Programming Language Software). This affects some unknown processing of the component Comment. NOTE: the previous information is from the February 2013 CPU. Oracle has not commented on claims from a third party that the issue is due to an invalid type cast in the JSObject class.

This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-1543 since 12/07/2012. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
