A vulnerability was found in Novell GroupWise Client up to 2012.0 SP1 (Groupware Software). It has been rated as critical. The client in Novell GroupWise 8.0 before 8.0.3 HP2 and 2012 before SP1 HP1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (incorrect pointer dereference) via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was presented 01/30/2013 with HTBridge as 7011687 as confirmed bulletin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at novell.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-0804 since 01/05/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy.
