A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Moxa SoftCMS up to 1.2 (Automation Software). This affects the function OpenForIPCamTest in the library RTSPVIDEO.rtspvideoCtrl.1. Stack-based buffer overflow in the OpenForIPCamTest method in the RTSPVIDEO.rtspvideoCtrl.1 (aka SStreamVideo) ActiveX control in Moxa SoftCMS before 1.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the StrRtspPath parameter.

This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-1000 since 01/10/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
