Details
A vulnerability was found in SysAid Help Desk up to 15.1 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file /genericreport. The manipulation of the argument grantSQL with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in SysAid Help Desk before 15.2 allow remote administrators to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) groupFilter parameter in an AssetDetails report to /genericreport, customSQL parameter in a (2) TopAdministratorsByAverageTimer report or an (3) ActiveRequests report to /genericreport, (4) dir parameter to HelpDesk.jsp, or (5) grantSQL parameter to RFCGantt.jsp.
