A vulnerability was found in Bonita BPM Portal up to 6.5.2 (Business Process Management Software). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file bonita/portal/themeResource. The manipulation of the argument location with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in Bonita BPM Portal before 6.5.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the theme parameter and a file path in the location parameter to bonita/portal/themeResource.
