A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in SilverStripe CMS and Framework 3.1.13 (Content Management System). This issue affects an unknown part of the file dev/build. The manipulation of the argument returnURL with an unknown input leads to a redirect vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-601. A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. Open redirect vulnerability in SilverStripe CMS & Framework 3.1.13 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a URL in the returnURL parameter to dev/build.
