The weakness was released 08/11/2015 by Ucha Gobejishvili with Zero Day Initiative as MS15-084 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-2440 since 03/19/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
