A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (Web Browser). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the component VBScript/JScript Engine. The weakness was published 09/08/2015 with Palo Alto Networks as MS15-094 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2015-2493 since 03/19/2015. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
