Session fixation vulnerability in IBM WebSphere eXtreme Scale 7.1.0 before 7.1.0.3 and 7.1.1 before 7.1.1.1 allows remote attackers to hijack web sessions via a session identifier.
The weakness was disclosed 10/04/2015 (Website). The advisory is available at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-2029 since 02/19/2015. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
Upgrading to version 7.1.0.3 or 7.1.1.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
