A vulnerability was found in GLPI up to 0.85.2 (Asset Management Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown processing of the file files/_tmp/ of the component File Upload. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Unrestricted file upload in GLPI before 0.85.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code by adding a file with an executable extension as an attachment to a new ticket, then accessing it via a direct request to the file in files/_tmp/.
The weakness was disclosed 10/05/2015 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at forge.glpi-project.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-7684 since 10/02/2015.
