A vulnerability was found in Revive Adserver up to 3.2.1 (Advertising Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code of the file open-flash-chart.swf of the component VideoAds Plugin. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in open-flash-chart.swf in Open Flash Chart 2, as used in the VideoAds plugin in Revive Adserver before 3.2.2, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) id or (2) data-file parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 10/14/2015 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-7370 since 09/25/2015. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059.007 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
Upgrading to version 3.2.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
