The weakness was disclosed 10/13/2015 by Muneaki Nishimura with OUSPG as Stable Channel Update, October 2015 as confirmed release notes (Website). The advisory is shared at googlechromereleases.blogspot.ch. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-6760 since 08/31/2015. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
