Details
A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel 4.3.3 (Operating System). It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function vivid_fb_ioctl of the file drivers/media/platform/vivid/vivid-osd.c. The manipulation of the argument fb_vblank with an unknown input leads to a information disclosure vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-200. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at git.kernel.org. A possible mitigation has been published 3 months after the disclosure of the vulnerability. The vulnerability will be addressed with the following lines of code:
