Use-after-free vulnerability in content/browser/appcache/appcache_update_job.cc in Google Chrome before 47.0.2526.73 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by leveraging the mishandling of AppCache update jobs.
The weakness was presented 12/01/2015 by Mariusz Mlynski (Cloudfuzzer) with Qihoo 360 as Stable Channel Update, December 2015 as confirmed release notes (Blog). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-6765 since 08/31/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The current price for an exploit might be approx.
