A vulnerability has been found in eWON Device up to 10 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the component Log-Off Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a session expiration vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-613. According to WASC, "Insufficient Session Expiration is when a web site permits an attacker to reuse old session credentials or session IDs for authorization." eWON devices with firmware before 10.1s0 do not trigger the discarding of browser session data in response to a log-off action, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain access by leveraging an unattended workstation.
