The HTTPS fallback implementation in Shell In A Box (aka shellinabox) before 2.19 makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct DNS rebinding attacks via the "/plain" URL.
The weakness was released 01/12/2016 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-8400 since 12/02/2015. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
