Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Outlook Web Access (OWA) in Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted URL, aka "Exchange Spoofing Vulnerability," a different vulnerability than CVE-2016-0031.
The weakness was released 01/12/2016 by Abdulrahman Alqabandi as MS16-010 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-0029 since 12/04/2015. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
