The weakness was presented 01/20/2016 as Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - January 2016 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at oracle.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-0471 since 12/09/2015. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
