A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Symantec NetBackup Appliance 2.0.x (Backup Software). Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality. Directory traversal vulnerability in the Management Console on the Symantec NetBackup (NBU) appliance 2.0.x allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was released 03/20/2013 by Joe Durbin with Pen Test Partners as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at symantec.com.
