The weakness was presented 01/26/2016 by Core Security with Core Security (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.lenovo.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-1489 since 01/04/2016. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
