IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for ACH Services, Check Services and Corporate Payment Services (CPS) 3.0.0 before FP12 allows remote authenticated users to obtain sensitive information by reading README files.
The weakness was disclosed 02/15/2016 (Website). The advisory is shared at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2016-0232 since 12/08/2015. The attack can be launched remotely. The successful exploitation needs a single authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
Applying the patch FP12 is able to eliminate this problem.
