A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Dropbear SSH up to 2016.71 (SSH Server Software). This issue affects an unknown code of the component Shell Command Restriction. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a crlf injection vulnerability. The bug was discovered 03/14/2016. The weakness was disclosed 03/22/2016 by tintinweb (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at matt.ucc.asn.au. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-3116 since 03/10/2016. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is needed for exploitation.
