A vulnerability classified as very critical was found in SPIP up to 3.1.0 (Content Management System). This vulnerability affects the function encoder_contexte_ajax of the file ecrire/inc/filtres.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. The encoder_contexte_ajax function in ecrire/inc/filtres.php in SPIP 2.x before 2.1.19, 3.0.x before 3.0.22, and 3.1.x before 3.1.1 allows remote attackers to conduct PHP object injection attacks and execute arbitrary PHP code via a crafted serialized object.
The weakness was shared 04/08/2016 by Basti (Website). The advisory is available at debian.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-3154 since 03/15/2016. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 02/05/2019).
