A vulnerability was found in Duforum (Forum Software) (the affected version is unknown). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown code of the file messages.asp. The manipulation of the argument FOR_ID with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The bug was discovered 10/09/2004. The weakness was disclosed 10/11/2004 by Soroush Dalili. The attack can be launched remotely. Technical details and also a exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
