A vulnerability was found in Cacti up to 0.8.8g (Log Management Software). It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown code of the file tree.php. The manipulation of the argument parent_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in tree.php in Cacti 0.8.8g and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the parent_id parameter in an item_edit action.
